David Ricardo S. Cagahastian is an associate of the Firm since December 2016. He was promoted to senior associate in December 2020.

He obtained his law degree from the UP College of Law in 2016 and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2017.

While studying as an evening student in UP Law, he worked as a reporter for the BusinessMirror, assigned to cover the Department of Finance, the Department of Budget and Management, the Department of Labor and Employment and the Office of the President. Prior to that, he worked as a reporter for the Manila Bulletin, assigned to cover the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Office of the President, the Department of Justice, and the House of Representatives. While covering the business beat in 2014, he won Third Place in the 1st Sun Life Sinag Financial Literacy Journalism Awards. In the succeeding year, he won the Grand Prize in the said journalism awards.

Mr. Cagahastian is a member of the University of the Philippines Alumni Association (UPAA).
